Henshall Electrical were asked to take part in an exciting project in Fowey, Cornwall.

The property is an old junior school which had been converted by the previous owners to a home and an artists studio.

It was in need of a complete overhaul as the previous works were not ageing well.

Working to a strict timescale and through the harsh weather of early 2018 the property was turned around quickly and finished to a fantastic standard.

Extensively rewired, we utilised galvanized conduit and trunking throughout where we could to create a modern look, which sets off the buildings natural charm and character.

Within the main home new en-suites and bathrooms were created alongside a new kitchen and mezzanine bedroom area.

A brand new heating system was installed with nest controls put in place to provide flexible and away from home control.

The summer house was lightly renovated with new fixtures and fittings, with cat5 cabling installed.

The outbuildings were turned into washrooms and a wc with a log shed also included.

The grounds were lit throughout with discreet uplighters and industrial bulkhead fittings controlled with pir sensors located around the property. The feature of the garden being the fairy light lit tree!

The hot tub is gently lit with decking lights and the views across the water are stunning.

It was a fantastic project to be a part of and will continue to look good for years to come.
